This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. I was impressed by the attention to detail in the rooms, such as the stunning views of Mount Chokai that added to the overall experience. Moreover, the location near the main attraction in Sakata - the old rice warehouses - allowed for convenient exploration of the city's historical sites.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, right next to the fish market and within walking distance to the main attractions in Sakata, like the old rice warehouses. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I also appreciated the basic amenities provided, such as the free bicycles which made exploring the town a breeze. The rooms had a beautiful view of Mount Chokai, and the breakfast spread was delicious and plentiful.

Spacious room with great view from the corner window, breakfast was one of the better breakfasts we had with attentive service, and the staff were excellent and very helpful. The hotel provided free bicycles to lend and the rice museum, which was nearby, was a great sight to see.
The restaurant had no menu and was not helpful in translations. the hotel was a bit far from the train station, so it was a bit of a walk to get to.

Located close to Sakata's main attractions, including the old rice warehouses and the fish market, it's a perfect spot for tourists. The rooms are clean and tidy, with a nice bathroom, and the hotel staff are friendly and speak good English. Breakfast buffet is also a plus, with a decent variety of food.
There could be some improvements in the amenities provided, with a lack of USB sockets and no menu available in the restaurant making it difficult to order food.

During my Christmas vacation, I had a pleasant stay at an upmarket hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The friendly staff provided great service, and the hotel had convenient parking. Located near historic landmarks, I enjoyed exploring the area.
Although the location was great, there was no English menu at the restaurant, which made it difficult to order. Additionally, the heating system was complicated, and the lack of English instructions made it difficult to manage. Finally, the bed was uncomfortable, which made it hard to sleep at night.
